Dr. Kimberly Ann Butay was born and raised on the beautiful island of Oahu. She began her veterinary journey in high school by doing an internship at her local veterinary clinic and also volunteering at the Oahu SPCA. She then graduated from Waianae High School and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
While her time at UH Manoa, she worked as a veterinary assistant, volunteered at the Hawaiian Humane Society, and also did an internship at the Hawaii Department of Agriculture Veterinary Laboratory. She then traveled to Arizona and obtained her DVM degree at Midwestern University.
After 4 long years of being away from the islands, she is happy to finally be home. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, singing karaoke, and eating all the “local kine grindz.” Dr. Butay’s special interests are preventative and emergency medicine. Her goal is to provide the best veterinary care for her furry patients and to ensure they are comfortable, fear-free, and happy.
