Endoscopy
is the use of a small camera to investigate the intestinal tract for both treatment and diagnostic purposes. We can use it to take less invasive samples of the stomach and intestine. We can also get a look at these tissues without surgery. Certain foreign materials can also be removed from the stomach using this method in place of surgery.
Laparoscopy
is a minimally invasive method of surgery for simple procedures and diagnostics. Using a camera and small incisions we can take samples of organs like the liver or perform spays.
